It took a while for me to publish a new video on the blog but after a month I finally collected enough footage to put something online that has structure.
In the video I show a day in my life here in Malaysia. From waking up, to heading to work, being at work and later on heading back again.
Updating the VLOG has posted more of a challenge then expected. Because it is a bit hard for me to move around I tend be stuck to home a lot. The last time I actually was going to visit some touristy hot spots, I ended up in a traffic jam and by the time that cleared, the weather turned and I ended up in a mall.
So all in all, the amount of photos and videos is a bit limited. I do hope to bring my camera a bit more often as its a lot of fun making these little videos.
In other news.
Last few days I booked two trips, the first is as soon as next week. I'll be visiting my friends in
Bangkok again for a few days before Songkran starts off in BKK. It will be relaxed, some clubbing, some tourisity stuff and some shopping, and, finally affordable beer again.
The other trip is to
Australia, I'm flying to Melbourne at the beginning of may to see the city there. It's the home of The Cat Empire, so of course I am hoping to run into them. During my stay there I will also take an intercontinental trip to Sydney to do my "green light" presentation for my internship in the office in Sydney.
I am looking forward to this trip a lot, Australia is still somewhat a mystical place for many Europeans.
My internship...is also still undergoing. I am doing qualitative research, and where better to do this then at the company I am working now. Nielsen does thousands of research projects every month and thus I am able to source data from all over the world for my specific survey that does research in perception from different cultures. How do people see other people?
For the campaign I am developing I have this strong feeling to use a lot of photography, and this research should tell me how to use photography to leverage this medium the best for the campaign.
I already have loads of data in and can not wait to start processing the results.
And,
here is me dipping my grapes in chocolate (pun intended):
Cheers and catch you on the flip side!
