At the moment of these writings I have my internship behind me. It sure was a bumpy ride, and with only the report to finish up left, I hope its all behind me now.
During the last few weeks I also had two large lan parties. First I traveled with Intel and the Pack4Dreamhack Initiative to Sweden to capture the worlds largest LAN party Dreamhack on film.
These films were a large success and for the first time ever we broke through our data limits. Luckily our hoster was a shining knight in armor and saved us by expanding this data limit (to infinite even).
Two weeks later we made our appearance in Neumunster Germany where the Northern Convention 2007 (Northcon 07) was held. This is a rather large lan party of around 2500 BYOC (bring your own computer) visitors.

Then my server broke, a few days before christmas, tragedy, I luckily bought a new motherboard from a guy in Delft, no manual, no nothing, for way too much money. The problem is, its very hard to get by s939 boards these days so I had to pay the price.
After some issues everything worked again, just in time for me going to my parents were I had christmas and catched a cold and then drank champagne mixed with snot at new years.
And now it's wednesday, and its almost time for me to hop the plane to Thailand.
Friday morning around 11 my plane will depart from Schiphol and I'll be (with a little luck) touching ground around 10 past 10 in the already vibrating hot morning air of Bangkok.
